Bhutan Green Tea (Tr0) – A Royal Cup of the Past – Organically Grown In BHUTAN for a Rare and Exotic Flavor
The Second King of Bhutan brought the first saplings of this Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) into Bhutan and planted it near his Samchholing Palace for self-consumption.
It was only in year 2012 that Bhutan Green Tea started commercial production with the joint efforts of the Villagers and the Royal Government of Bhutan, whereby the tea Saplings are still taken from the Tea trees surrounding the King’s Palace in Trongsa.
This Green Tea is very rare and exotic as every year ONLY a few hundred kilograms of this Special Bhutan Green Tea is harvested.
Bhutan Green Tea is organically grown at an altitude of 2,180m / 7,150ft, in the SAMCHHOLING VILLAGE in Trongsa, a district of Central Bhutan.
Bhutan Green Tea is made from unfermented leaves of Camellia Sinensis which contains the highest powerful antioxidant properties called Polyphenols.
Steps to Prepare this Special Bhutan Green Tea
You can use this same amount of the tea for another 2 to 3 times to extract the antioxidants completely
